For my own personal blog and social media presence, I wanted to create a place for moms, especially those interested in feminism and diversity. Pink and brown were the the natural color choices because they make the point right away that this is a brand that represents women and families. Adding a personal photo added to the ‘bicultural’ theme by demonstrating that my family is mixed and part of the modern movement toward multicultural parenting. A consistent theme and branding throughout ensure that each web page is easily recognizable and inviting.
