Over the years, I’ve worked with so many women to help them create websites for their blogs and businesses.
I’ve worked with clients who want fast websites, clients who want functional websites, clients who want cheap websites, and clients who want pretty websites.
But my favorite types of clients are the ones who want life changing websites. For them, the web design experience is a huge milestone.
They view this process as a transition. A rebirth of sorts. A time that marks when they’ve overcome a crushing barrier.
Maybe it’s self-doubt, or money issues, or a divorce, or a move across country, or anything else. But it’s something big and they need change now. They need their website to represent them and how far they’ve come.
And this is what a website can do. It’s not simply a host for pages and information. It can become a piece of your identity. Documentation of your evolution.
Redesign is about transformation and growth.
And that’s what I focus on more than anything in my business. I put my energy into helping women to reflect themselves and their stories.
Because to some of us…it’s more than just a website.
I experienced this myself recently.
I’ve changed my site numerous times over the years…to update my offerings, tweak my bio, clean up the design…but this latest website update is my first real redesign.
This is the first time that I’ve treated myself as a client and created a logo and website that I truly love. Something that speaks to who I am. And something that also embodies my vision for the future.
Because manifesting your reality is everything. Visualization can only go so far.
This new website is where I want to be.
And that experience of making space for your visions…in your life here and now…is what makes the redesign experience so incredible.
You begin to see yourself differently. You train yourself to trust that this vision is within your reach. That it’s who you already are. And then you rise to meet the expectation.
And that is exactly what I plan to do.

An inspiring piece. It’s really true you need to have a design, and in my opinion, a marketing strategy that actually shows what you are about and what you’d like to accomplish. You’re basically presenting the brand in more details and from that point of view, I feel women should invest more time into these aspects.
Thank you Alexandria. The marketing strategy is crucial. You really have to know your brand and your audience in order to make the level of impact that you need to be successful. I think you’re right, that as women, we tend not to take ourselves as seriously or to allow ourselves to make the necessary time and financial investments in building our brands before we launch.
I think that’s why I tend to see so many women in need of redesigns. They’re coming to me when they’re clear on what their business goals are and they’re ready to take their blogs and businesses to the next level.

I feel that they need to build confidence in what they are creating. It’s thinking “Let’s see if people actually appreciate the product or service and then I will create the brand around it.”
But in other cases that I know of, women are the ones that have the clear vision and know that from time to time they need to freshen up their brand’s look and messages.
