You might already know this about me…but I’m really big on self-exploration. It’s something I’ve done since I was very young. If I liked or didn’t like something, I had to know why. If I believed in something deeply, I wanted to understand how to express the reasons why to anyone who might ask.
Basically, I was that annoying kid who always asked “why?”
And sometimes I really can’t understand people who don’t ask why.
“Why?! Why don’t you ask why?!” (me, in my kid voice…lol).
We all need to ask questions. It’s how we learn. And it’s also part of our own self-exploration. We perceive things differently once we know other pieces of the story. So having the full picture is important.
Without exploration, we become what most would call “mediocre,” “apathetic,” “lost.”
*shivers*
One of the hardest things for me is to see someone who doesn’t know themselves or who is so used to just listening to everyone else’s wants that they have no ability to express their own desires.
If you don’t KNOW yourself…you’re only half in the game.
And there is nothing worse than a “half in” person.
NOBODY wants to be with somebody who only gives HALF of themselves. And that goes for business too. The people who come to you as readers and potential clients want the BEST of you.
And being the best you means KNOWING what you’re best at.
That’s why I’ve put together some questions to help you learn more about yourself and use that information to grow your business.
