How to Add a Manager on YouTube
Adding a manager to your YouTube channel is easier than you might think. And there are lots of really good reasons why you might want to do this.
Why add a manager on YouTube?
There are a number of reasons why you might want to add a manager on YouTube. If you’re a blogger or business owner, you might want help to manage uploads, graphic thumbnails, SEO or editing tasks. You might also want to give your designer permissions in order to add new branding to your YouTube channel (such as a YouTube banner or head shot).
Using YouTube manager roles allows you to do this without having to give up complete control of your Google account. Your assistants and designers will appreciate how easily they can manage your channel from their own accounts, and you’ll have the peace of mind knowing that they don’t have access to your most private account settings.

Step-by-Step Tutorial to Add a Manager on YouTube
1 Login to your YouTube account and start by clicking on your YouTube avatar in the top right corner of the page. You should see a drop down menu. Click the “Settings” gear icon under the YouTube channel that you want to add a manager to.

2 On the next page, click the “Add or Remove Managers” link to add a manager to your YouTube account.

3 Next, click the “Manage Permissions” button to manage your users and roles and add your new YouTube manager.

4 Click on the “Add Users” icon in the top right corner of the pop-up box. It should look like two people and a plus sign.

5 Next, start typing the name or email address of the person that you want to add as a manager on your YouTube channel.

6 If the person has a Google+ account, you should see their name pop-up in your search options. If not, you’ll need to add your new YouTube manager by email address.

7 Next, select the role you want to give to your new YouTube channel manager. You have the option to choose “Owner,” “Manager,” or “Communications Manager.” I recommend to avoid using the “Owner” role unless you’re sure that you want your YouTube manager to have full access to your account. 8 Finally, click the “Invite” button to add your new YouTube manager to your channel. Once you’ve added the person, be sure to remind them to check their email for your invite. Once they accept your invitation, they will be added to your YouTube channel. And that’s it! You’re ready to go!

How to Remove a Manager on YouTube
And if you ever want to remove a manager from your YouTube account, it’s just as easy. Simply click on the “X” icon next to their name in order to remove them forever. If you want to add them back as an manager, you’ll have to go through the process of adding them all over again.
