“Ready” is Overrated

Waiting until you think you’re “ready” is overrated. ⁠

While it is important to create a quality offering, it’s just as important to create ANY offering. I mean, we all have to start somewhere.⁠

This has been one of my biggest challenges in my business. Being a perfectionist. Being afraid to fail. Being stuck on the idea that something needs to be amazing in order for it to hold value for someone else.⁠

But that just isn’t true.⁠

You don’t need any fancy equipment, polished products, or whatever other thing holding you up, in order to get started, forget it. START NOW. ⁠

You can work on being polished later. Upgrade as you go. I’m going to be real honest…I’ve shot weekly vlogs, podcasts, and food photography all on my smartphone.⁠

And you know what? They look and sound great! ⁠

Yes, everything you do could always be better, but waiting for perfection is only going to sabotage your business.⁠

So start selling that imperfect ebook. Publish your first blog post. Shoot with your smartphone. Whatever you have to do to get it done.⁠

Because you’ll never reach the summit if you don’t start somewhere. 💖⁠
