There is a ton of information online about blog conference sponsorship, but which information is accurate? Well, I’ve put together some of the best resources, plus a free template designed to help you maximize your chances of getting a sponsor to commit to your next conference trip.
#1. Deal Seeking Mom has a great post with tips for crafting your media kit and sponsorship proposal. In the article, How to Get a Blog Conference Sponsorship, she also includes samples of both documents. A great help for those looking for an example to start with.
#2. Blog Conference Newbie has a great comprehensive Sponsorship 101 Guide [pdf] for bloggers who are looking get the most impact for their sponsors. This isn’t the fanciest looking guide, but there are lots of good tips here that can help you make your blog (and YOU) more marketable to brands looking to make a quality investment. Also be sure to check out BCN’s Sponsorship 101 series on their blog too.
